Stress Reduction - We can’t Empty a Bathtub if Water is still Running.

Updated: Sep 9, 2022

Root cause of all disease is genetic potential exposed to internal and external stressors. Stress is any influence, internal or external, that causes or leads to malfunction.

There are 3 types of distress which contribute to MC: Spiritual/Mental/Emotional; Physical/Biomechanical; Chemical/Biochemical/Functional.

To identify HIDDEN internal Chemical/Biochemical/Functional stressors I run functional lab work with each client. We look at malfunctions at subclinical (pre-disease) level within Hormone, Immune, Digestion, Detoxification, Energy production, Nervous systems:

  • Dysbiosis and gut malfunction

  • Mucosal barrier, biofilm, biotoxins

  • Poor nutrient breakdown and absorption

  • Bacteria and yeast overgrowth

  • HPA axis and adrenal dysfunction

  • Cortisol dysregulation, circadian rhythm problems

  • Hormone dynamics and imbalances

  • Oxidative stress, toxicity

  • Sluggish liver, detoxification problems

  • Antigenic overload, pathogenic overgrowth

  • Inflammation and immunodeficiency

However, together with resolving HIDDEN stressors, reduction of other kinds of External Stressors is critical. Some external causes of Oxidative Stress (Pro-Oxidative Signaling) can be exposure to toxins, chemicals, metals, EMFs, sleep deprivation, no exercising, poor posture, emotional stress.

Scientists have begun to make the link between toxicity and countless other health issues including immunity. That’s right: toxins, especially heavy metals and mold, can suppress your natural killer cells from being able to fight infection and keep you protected.

I suggest removing as many toxins from your environment as you can. Unfortunately toxins are everywhere. Research shows that everyday products contain toxic chemicals - paint, furniture, carpets, non organic dishwasher or detergent; all commercial, non-natural, chemical products for skin and hair.

We live in houses which are sealed with no ventilation, with awful indoor air quality. These chemicals trigger obesity genes and disrupt your hormones. They negatively impact your sleep... your weight... your energy... your skin and aging... literally everything.

Root Canals turn into cavitation - infection in the jawbone. Contact lenses and amalgams consist of Mercury and other heavy metals which hit the brain through the optic nerve, particularly the pituitary hypothalamus which controls your endocrine system. Symptoms include fatigue, joint pain, brain fog, dry eyes, gut issues, anxiety, headaches. Often diagnosed as autoimmune.

So the single best thing you can do for your overall health and immunity is to get these dangerous toxins out and upgrade the way you look and feel.

Avoid plastic. If you use plastic food storage containers and plastic water bottles, they has to be labeled - 5PP or 2HDPE.

Reduce negative effects from Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs). I use an AntiAgingBed’s mattress sheet, patented sleep technology that fully grounds me while sleeping. It neutralizes all those harmful signals from electronics throughout the night. I also sit on AntiAgingBed’s rug when I am working on the computer during the day to reduce EMF exposure.

I suggest you wear comfortable clothes made with natural fabric. Prioritize comfortable shoes, no high heels. Try such brands like Xero Shoes. They produce shoes with wide toe boxes which let your toes spread and relax. As well as flexible soles let your foot bend and flex naturally.

Regularly visit a massage therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, etc. Always keep the right posture during everyday activities, whether you are moving or still. Holding your body the right way can prevent pain, injuries, and other health problems. Being always mindful of your posture is not easy, you have to practice exact exercises to develop a habit. I provide basic exercises or suggest a coach.

Healthy sleep is very important for your overall health. We are diurnal and our body is designed to be active during the day, and having rest during the night. Go to bed before 11 pm and set up the right routing before sleep. Avoid blue light exposure in the evening. If you have to do something on your laptop or phone in the evening, use blue light blocking glasses. Ideally if you read something spiritual or inspirational, listen to soothing music, turn down the lights and don’t work or think about work before sleep.

Reduce Emotional stress. Implement in your life de-stress practices on daily bases, such as Meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Yoga, Tai Chi, walking or just sitting in nature, etc. I can suggest using such apps for meditation as BrainTap, NuCalm. I’ve been practicing Transcendental Meditation (TM) for more than 10 years and can see a huge transformation in my mind. I can suggest a TM teacher if you want to learn TM. I like and definitely recommend doing EFT. I send the brochure to my clients before we get lab results so they can already start working on their stress reduction.

Even during very busy days remember to pay attention to your body. Try to listen to it more. If some days you have no opportunity for de-stress practices, try at least to find some time for being alone, without phone and computer. Spend time preening a little. Cut your toenails, give yourself a foot and hand massage, stretch. As you pay more attention to your body, you may get insights as to what makes you healthier.
