Unlocking the Power of Brown’s Gas: An Introduction to AquaCure’s AC50 and Electrically Expanded Water

Wellness innovation often walks the line between tradition, myth, and groundbreaking science. AquaCure, founded by George Wiseman, is one of the leading names exploring that frontier through a unique form of hydrogen-based technology: Brown’s Gas and its little-known constituent, Electrically Expanded Water (ExW).

This article provides a guide to what Brown’s Gas is (and what it isn’t), the science behind it, and what technologies like AquaCure’s AC50 promise for health, agriculture, and longevity.

Unlocking the Power of Brown’s Gas: An Introduction to AquaCure’s AC50 and Electrically Expanded Water

Who’s Behind It: George Wiseman & AquaCure

George Wiseman is the founder and CEO of AquaCure (also affiliated with Eagle-Research), a long-standing figure in the research and development of Brown’s Gas technologies. He began studying Brown’s Gas in the mid-1980s and has since focused on optimizing electrolyzer designs that avoid separating the generated gases, thereby maximizing the production of Electrically Expanded Water (ExW). Sources: ResearchGate, eagle-research.com, Water Conference archives

What Is Brown’s Gas (aka HHO, HydrOxy)?

Brown’s Gas is a particular mixture of gases produced by water electrolysis in which hydrogen and oxygen are generated without being separated by a membrane. This results in not only the expected hydrogen and oxygen, but also exotic components—most notably, Electrically Expanded Water.

Key points in its development:

First patented in the 1960s by rocket scientist William Rhodes, who pioneered single-ducted electrolyzers.

Popularized by Yull Brown in the 1970s, who spread the technology worldwide.

Unlike standard hydrogen/oxygen electrolysis systems, Brown’s Gas systems do not use a separating membrane, allowing the formation of ExW.

What Is Electrically Expanded Water (ExW)?

ExW is the most novel claim associated with AquaCure’s approach. According to Wiseman and collaborators:

ExW is a negatively charged, electron-rich, cold plasma phase of water—still H₂O, but in an energized state beyond normal vapor or steam.

It is distinct from molecular hydrogen, oxygen, or “EZ water” (structured water described by Prof. Gerald Pollack).

Unlike steam, ExW remains gaseous even when cooled, suggesting a high-energy, stable form.

Depending on design and operation, ExW may account for up to ~30% of the total gas volume produced.

Why it matters: proponents suggest ExW supplies extra electrons, providing “bio-available energy” that may help counter oxidative stress, reduce inflammation, support cellular repair, and potentially outperform pure hydrogen in some therapeutic contexts.

Claimed Benefits & Applications

Health & Healing

Faster recovery, reduced inflammation, improved energy and vitality.

Some claim it could extend healthy lifespan by decades.

Used via inhalation, topical application, or water enrichment.

Agriculture

Reports of dramatic crop yield improvements in experimental conditions.

Technological / Fuel Applications

Used in welding and as a fuel additive with unusual high-energy, low-heat flame properties.

Sometimes applied to increase combustion efficiency in engines.

What to Watch Out For

Like many frontier technologies, Brown’s Gas remains partly experimental.

Safety: as a hydrogen-oxygen mix, it requires careful handling and proper device engineering.

Variability: ExW yield depends heavily on electrolyzer design, water purity, and electrical parameters.

Clinical Evidence: while case studies and early trials are promising, large-scale peer-reviewed clinical validation is still limited.

AquaCure’s AC50: What Makes It Special

The AC50 is AquaCure’s flagship device, designed to optimize ExW production through non-membrane electrolyzers and finely tuned electrical inputs.

Offers multiple modes of application (inhalation, topical, water enrichment).

Built with safety controls and engineering refinements developed over decades of research.

Final Thoughts

Brown’s Gas—and especially Electrically Expanded Water—sits at the intersection of physics, biology, and wellness. While mainstream validation is still emerging, the underlying science of electrolysis, plasma states, and cellular stress reduction offers intriguing possibilities for both health and longevity.

Experience It for Yourself

Guests at the Ultimate Wellness™ Conference at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach (September 26–28, 2025) will have a rare opportunity to experience this technology directly.

On Sunday, September 28, George Wiseman will lead a one-hour workshop titled “Brown’s Gas Health Application” where attendees can explore the science, history, and protocols behind AquaCure’s AC50.

Throughout the three-day expo, the AquaCure machine will also be available for hands-on exploration, with Wiseman himself on-site to answer questions and provide guidance.

This dual opportunity allows participants not only to learn in depth during the workshop, but also to see, experience, and discuss the technology in person with its creator.
